Garak and Quark are my favorite DS9 characters. Add Rom, Nog, and O'Brian in and you'd have a great spin off without the usual annoying roles, like Kira for example. She was the Wesley of DS9 to me.

It's crazy how these characters I love on the show are played by actors I couldn't care less about. The more I see of must of them the less I would be interested in meeting, much less knowing. I'd love to meet Quark but not Amin.

In regard to the subject of the controversy of Majel Barrett playing "Number 1", I recall reading something about women in the test audience being the most critical, and making comments in the nature of, "Just who does she think she is?" I think you guys were kind of mistaken in your interpretation of what the controversy was actually about.

On the topic of the "lack of budget" for Star Trek: Blake's 7 looked so cheap that some wondered if half of the production budget went on the hair spray for the cast. But when an episode of Blake's 7, of 1978, cost a 5th of a Star Trek TOS episode of 1965, and the budget for an episode of ST-TOS was thought to be close to impossible for a network television show, Blake's 7 did pretty well, when two-and-a-half episodes of Star Trek TOS was a whole season of Blake's 7 :-)

I love enterprise so much i could tell stories for days about star trek TNG and how I was 17 when enterprise came out and how i didnt care for it much until the end of season 2 and i caught the an episode ...it became my 2nd favorite trek next to TNG ...beat out Ds9 and tos for me. Playing HALO while watching enterprise will go down as one of my favoeite times of those late teens early twenties.... that and drinking and girls haha

Totally absorbed in this episode, it has to rank in the top 5. Doug is one person that I could listen to for hours. I had saved every episode including the extended Doug Drexler one only to accidentally wipe the whole saved folder ( What a idiot am I), anyway fantastic 2 hour episode. Well done to all at TSPS. Interesting that so many who made a career out of Star Trek, knew nothing about Star Trek :-)

Don't know if they had this in mind when composing and tweaking the dialogue, but the lines translate into German, Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese for the dubbers to lip-sync and look authentic. Perhaps Rick Berman's experiences of his travels around the world made him sensitive to this aspect.

I think it's poetic somehow that Michelle struggled with a phone system with flashing lights. She then became amazing on a show where you press all the flashing lights!! You go girl!!!

What greater way to celebrate a once but short-established tradition than by resurrecting that tradition. And ST-ENT Season 5 "Your title here", though ("The Romulan Star-Empire") would be my title. Such a promise or announcement would blow us dyed in the wool fans, away. Enough of the original actors could still be made up to fit cast roles and it could all be done, if not only to help those fans who need and want to still believe but can be done in the memory of Gary Graham, who was a believer in the principle of resurrection, in the classical sense too. I believe in a lot of things because I've either done them or seen it with my own eyes. Come on writers, stop talking yourselves out of it. It is a brilliant idea. The fans of ENT 1 to 4 would go bananas for this. It will be a sensation across the ST Universe.

Here's an opportunity for a writer. In ENT final "These are the voyages", the holo-record which Riker is playing objective/subjective within, is clearly full of errors. T'Pol is wearing blue ensign uniform in place of the red she's been in for 2 or 3 seasons and the awful ending! That can be all tied in together as a section 31 or other security gaff/data-breach and be obsoleted as all complete garbage information. Then write the next Season. Season 5: The Romulan Star Empire! Yes? For 19 yrs it's seemed the obvious thing to do. It's 20 yrs since the end of ENT in 2005, just next year 2025. Life is pretty bad out here now, without the witty, humorous and gripping world of Decent ST to look forward to. So please; - you outta-work actors, you unemployable writers, with no-where to go in the modern world: PLEASE WRITE ST ENT: Season 5. I think "The Romulan Star Empire" would really fill the boots that dare not be walked in anymore. I've seen Picard, and Strange New Worlds but ENT was definitively an UNFINISHED WORK.

O jeez, Shran was one of my all-time favourite characters in Star Trek. I was so sad they didn't give him a more dignified ending. Would have been a great ambassador or something. Jeffrey Combs is amazing in all his trekkie roles. I hope we get to see him in future roles again.

From the very beginning of the pilot, Nana Visitor was an instant "wow" for me. Kira Nerys was fearless, daring, speaking the truth in your face, no matter what... a real tough cookie! But she was fair, good hearted, funny, sweet and adorable. I mean, i just love her! <3 She's amoung the most likable characters in Star Trek Universe. That's because Nana is a really good actress and a very likable woman.
